Contact Z Ads is an advertising attribution application. It connects Google Ads accounts authorized by an organization to that organization's Contact Z customer service workspace. Its purpose is to identify which campaigns, ads, landing pages, and calls to action contributed to the start of WhatsApp conversations.

What Contact Z Ads does

Contact Z Ads provides the following user-facing features only to authenticated users who are authorized by the organization that connected its Google Ads account.

Advertising catalog

Synchronizes authorized customer accounts, campaigns, ad groups, ads, assets, and ad messages for display in the organization's Contact Z workspace.

Conversation attribution

Relates click identifiers, landing pages, calls to action, and WhatsApp messages to explain the advertising origin of each conversation.

Customer service context

Displays attribution details alongside the customer conversation and applies organization-defined contact tags.

Organization-level control

Restricts connections and advertising data to authorized users, with OAuth credentials stored securely and isolated by organization.

How Contact Z Ads uses Google user data

Contact Z Ads requests the Google Ads API scope only after an authorized administrator explicitly starts the OAuth connection. The application uses the granted access solely to provide the attribution, catalog, and diagnostic features described on this page.

  1. Authorization: an authorized user chooses a Google account and grants access to its permitted Google Ads accounts through OAuth.
  2. Access and use: the application reads only the Google Ads account, campaign, ad group, ad, asset, message, and performance data needed for catalog, diagnostics, and attribution.
  3. Display and sharing: the resulting context is shown only inside the same organization's Contact Z workspace. Google user data is not sold, transferred for advertising, or used to serve third-party ads.
  4. User control: the organization can disconnect the integration at any time, and the Google account owner can revoke the granted access from their Google Account.
